In the heart of Nottinghamshire sits a 250,000m2 nationwide distribution centre for a major retailer throughout the UK. With a constant stream of both goods vehicles and visitors entering the site on a daily basis, ensuring the surrounding grounds upheld their well-established reputation is something of utmost priority.

The flagship site which serves both retail stores and home deliveries is also the high-profile location for all customer visits. Being vast in scale, the client decided to outsource the management and maintenance, including the logistical operations which are managed by a nationwide haulage company.

Taking over the grounds maintenance, we recognised the importance of providing a formal appearance at an affordable price. By working closely with the client we were able to establish a maintenance scheme that not only provided the sought-after appearance but also fitted within the strict working environments.

Thanks to our vast range of experience we were able to quickly incorporate the full maintenance plan into our scheduled work, allowing us to uphold and improve the presentation of the site from the off. Work included formal grass cutting, pruning, litter picking and leaf clearance around the entrance to the site and within the site itself.

Additionally, away from the regular maintenance our teams will carry out other ad hoc services when required. By managing this separately to the grounds maintenance scheme we are able to always maintain our service whilst bringing economies of scale to our customer.
